JOHN BEL WILL ALWAYS BE HONEST WITH LOUISIANIANS

John Bel Promised To Be Honest With Louisianians. “What Edwards is telling voters that separates him from Jindal boils down to honesty. Seven of the eight years he has served in the Legislature were spent closing budget deficits, and over time Edwards became increasingly vocal about calling out the governor on what he calls ‘fictions’ in the budgeting process. ‘He has not been honest with the people of Louisiana in terms of his own budgeting,’ Edwards said. ‘He talks about the budget in ways that are just demonstrably false. I do talk often about it being time for honest leadership. And that’s absolutely a reference to Bobby Jindal.’” [The Times-Picayune, 10/8/15]
