BATON ROUGE — The Louisiana Democratic Party today released a new video contrasting the records of Gov. Bobby Jindal — who is facing a billion-dollar budget shortfall next year — with that of President Barack Obama — who has presided over 56 straight months of private-sector job growth.

“Our governor can ‘Jindalbuster’ all he wants when he’s going on the Sunday morning talk shows, but facts are facts,” said Louisiana Democratic Party Executive Director Stephen Handwerk. “He can claim that up is down and a deficit is a surplus, but the credit rating agency Moody’s says the state ended last year $140 million in the hole. Congressman Bill Cassidy is choosing to stand with Jindal, in spite of his misleading claims and fiscal irresponsibility. At the end of the day, Cassidy is with Jindal 100 percent of the time.”
