Louisiana Democratic Party Statement on Secretary of State Election Results

BATON ROUGE, LA – Saturday, the Louisiana Democratic Party released a statement on the results of Louisiana’s election for Secretary of State.

“We’re incredibly proud of the work Gwen-Collins Greenup put into her campaign for Secretary of State. Because of Gwen, our Democratic values of fair elections and the right to vote were championed in voting booths across the state,” Stephen Handwerk, Executive Director of the Louisiana Democratic Party said. “We’ll keep fighting for these beliefs and standing up against Kyle Ardoin, who continues to break Louisiana’s trust in the office of Secretary of State as he breaks state law, misuse his office, and fail to protect the integrity of our elections.”
