Wednesday, May 11, 2022 several anti-abortion bills will be heard in committee. Let’s pack the committee room! Stand up! Speak out! We will meet in the Capitol cafeteria promptly at 8:30am. Wear PURPLE.
Women on Wednesday is a series of forums by 10,000 Women Louisiana and Lift Louisiana to educate the public about issues and mobilize them to pressure lawmakers to prioritize policies that will improve the health and economic security of women and families. We will be inviting lawmakers and local experts to join us to talk about the policies they are promoting to address these issues. Each session will also include training on how to influence the legislative process. Lunch will be provided!
