The Louisiana Democratic Party is proud to announce that lifelong democratic activist Felicia Kahn will be receiving a Lifetime achievement award at this year Jefferson-Jackson Dinner in New Orlean. She has been making headlines as a face of the Democratic Party since 1976, when she met with President Carter, to now, appearing as a media sensation at the convention this past July.

“Now, after nearly nine decades of fighting for women’s rights and democratic value, it’s our turn to give back and recognize her with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Said Lynda Woolard, President of IWO. I’m honored to be introducing this exemplary woman, one I’m lucky enough to call a mentor and a friend.”
